Success is a Journey...
                   Not a Destination

We'd like to tell you about ourselves and how we got   started with Angus cattle...
Jack, as an FFA student in 1954, purchased a Registered Angus heifer.  She won her class at the Missouri State Fair.

We married in 1959.  Lived in Kansas, Texas, Florida and Michigan before eagerly returning to the Ozarks in 1967 to live our dreams on a farm.

Naturally, we had to have cows.  Motivated by the show heifer of Jack's youth, Angus soon became a part of our life.

Retirement in 1988 gave us more time to devote to the cattle.  It has also become a great opportunity for me to pick up my camera and share the beauty of our Angus cows and the scenery here at Honey Bluff with the readers of Farm Talk, Missouri Angus Trails and even the Angus Journal.

Although our herd is small by most standards, we pride ourselves in quality.  Through the use of a total artificial insemination breeding program we have enjoyed successes in the show ring, sale ring and performance arena.

Utilizing Performance Testing and Angus Herd Improvement Records, we breed selectively for soundness, disposition, phenotype and carcass merit.
